This year we received a record number of surveys and though it took us a while we got through them. We’re overjoyed with how positive the vast majority of them were but that doesn’t mean we don’t have areas that could use some improvements. I was honored to be asked back in 2015 to become the Megaplex Chairman and after 4 amazing years I am shocked at how far it’s come in such a short time. With this year’s Megaplex having surpassed 3600 attendees and raising an astounding $40,000 for C.A.R.E. I couldn’t be prouder of what our convention leadership, staff and volunteers have been able to provide Central Florida Yet, it’s not just those that work the convention that have made it what it is as we provide a place for the fun to happen - the attendees are integral and some of the most amazing and caring people I've met.

With this year’s con behind us I would like to announce that one of my fellow Board Members will be taking over the reigns as Megaplex Chairman while I take a lesser role to give me time to provide better focus on my personal life. I will still remain a board member and Vice President of Florida United Furry Fandom Inc., Megaplex’s parent company.

So, with that said, I would like to welcome Scooby as the 2020 Megaplex Chairman. His dedication to the convention and its attendees over the past few years has been exemplary and I am sure that with his leadership Megaplex will continue to get even better as we continue to provide our attendees with the best experience we can.

Here is some important information for those that will be driving in but not staying in the hotel. In order to receive the $10 discounted parking rate (standard rate is currently $20 per day on exit) you MUST have your parking validated at one of the machines that will be found in either in Convention Operations or at the Information Desk. If you do not do this you will be charged the standard rate.

For those staying in our room block, Parking is free to those listed on the room. This is limited to 1 vehicle per person listed on the room.

We are testing out a New App this year. Unfortunately we only have it for android at the moment but if all goes well we will try to get an iPhone app for next year!

REGISTRATION

Dealers arriving Thursday may pick up their badge in the Dealers room at Booth 1. Dealers assistants will still need to purchase / pick up their official badge at registration. Those arriving Friday will need to pick up their badge at registration.

SETUP

Dealers are welcome to start setting up on Thursday August 8th at 6 PM until 9 PM. The Dealers Den will reopen on Friday the 9th at 9 AM for dealers to setup. The Dealer's Den opens at 11 AM to attendees. The hotel requires that large carts/hand trucks be brought in through the loading dock area at the rear of the conference center. Please check in with the dealers room staff prior to going to the loading dock so that we can properly direct you to the correct location. Please be aware that there will be many dealers wanting to load in and we will do our best to get you in as quickly and safely as possible.

FLORIDA SALES TAX

All Dealers and Artist Alley participants are required to provide proof of either a Florida Annual Resale Certificate (Form DR-13) or Sales and Use Tax Return (Form DR-15) for temporary Business sales. For more information on how to register visit the Sales Tax section of our Vendor Policies page.

ARTIST ALLEY

Those wishing to enter the lottery must be present at the Artist Alley no later than 1 hour prior to the opening of the Dealer's Den. The lottery results for the day will be posted 30 minutes prior to Dealer's Den opening for that day. Those who have been awarded a spot or have pre-purchased a slot must be at the Artist Alley at the start of their slot time.

• Friday Morning: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Friday Afternoon: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday Morning: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Saturday Afternoon: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Sunday Morning: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Sunday Afternoon: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
